The challenge
Service bays see hot tires, dropped tools, oil and solvent spills, and heavy rolling loads — and the coating has to terminate cleanly at trench drains and door thresholds.
Preparation & repair
- Mechanical surface preparation of the slab
- Edge detailing at trench drains and door thresholds
The system we installed
We prepared the slab and installed a pigmented broadcast coating with a durable topcoat, detailing the edges at the drains, bollard bases, and coiling-door tracks.
Maintenance and fleet bays are a demanding environment — this floor is built for hot tires, spills, and rolling loads, and it terminates cleanly at the trench drains and door thresholds.

Finished Floor
A short walk-through of a vehicle maintenance bay. The floor is a grey pigmented broadcast coating with a satin finish. Two black trench drains cross the bay, yellow pipe bollards protect the corners, and overhead coiling doors line the far wall. A wall-mounted fire extinguisher is visible near the entrance.
The result
A sealed, chemical-resistant floor that cleans up with a hose and squeegee instead of soaking spills into bare concrete.
