The challenge

Production floors can't shut down for long. The coating has to go in around fixed equipment and support columns, cure fast enough to return the aisle to service, and stand up to constant rolling traffic once it's back in use.

Preparation & repair

  • Mechanical surface preparation of the exposed slab
  • Detailing around equipment bases and structural columns

The system we installed

We prepared the exposed slab, worked the coating in around equipment bases and columns, and finished it as a continuous sealed surface down the main aisle.

Industrial production floors are judged on uptime. This aisle was prepared and coated to return to service quickly and then hold up to the traffic a working plant puts on it every day.

The result

A sealed, cleanable production aisle that sweeps and mops clean and resists the abrasion of daily cart and foot traffic.
